Here are the instructions on how to adjust or change audio using the IR remote/IR cable on Multiplexer STSS1200 from Camera 1 to any other auxiliary camera unit supporting audio.
The STSS1200 is a sophisticated HD multiplexer that enhances your viewing experience with the DV6 and other compatible devices. This multiplexer allows audio playback on channel 3 of the DV6, provided that any connected Auxiliary Camera has audio capability. By default, audio is routed through camera 1 when an audio-enabled camera is plugged into the CAM 1 port of the multiplexer.

Change Audio from default Camera1 to another Auxiliary Camera
With the appropriate firmware for the DV6 and the compatible hardware of the DV609 kit, the audio feature on Channel 3 can be activated and utilized. By default, the audio from the built-in audio-supported auxiliary camera connected to the CAM 1 port on the multiplexer is enabled in the multiplexer settings, as illustrated below.
To switch the audio source to a different built-in audio-capable auxiliary camera connected to another port, you will need to adjust the settings on the multiplexer using the STSA1035 IR remote. Aim the remote at the STSA1036 IR extension cable sensor. Below are the steps to change the audio settings from Camera 1 to Camera 2 on Channel 3.
- To access the Menu options on CH3, press the “Menu” button on the IR remote. Take a moment to review the current selection displayed on the Live Stream of CH3.
- Utilize the right VOL arrow button to navigate to the “Mode” icon within the Menu options. Once highlighted, press the SEL button located beneath the DN arrow button to access the “Mode” window.
- Press the DN arrow button twice, followed by a single press of the right VOL arrow button to navigate to the “Settings” gear icon within the “Mode” selection window. Once there, press the SEL button to access the settings menu screen.
- Press the right VOL arrow button to navigate to the Audio section within the settings menu. Options that are currently selected will be highlighted in green, as illustrated below.
