Edit Profile Experience
We've improved the experience when editing profile settings in the Fleet Profile tab on the Camera Admin page.
First thing to point out is the toggle at the top right of the page with the labels "DV6" and "DV4". This toggle determines which camera settings are displayed for you to change, and by default it is set to "DV6".
Unlike previously, any changes made to a "shared setting" on one camera type will not make the same change to the other camera type. For example, if you disable channel 3 for the DV6 in Video Settings, this will not effect the DV4 channel 3 setting. In order to change the DV4 channel 3 setting, you would first have to click the "DV4" option on the toggle and then make the change.
All of the options have remained the same, except now they are now more clearly labeled, have a short description for what it does, and hide themselves away if not in use.
Toggles for ADAS / DMS Audible Event Notifications for DV6
In place of the all-or-nothing "DMS Alert Voice" and "ADAS Audio Alert" toggles, we've added an individual toggle for audible notifications for each event type individually. When a DMS or ADAS event is enabled, there will be an additional option for "Event Voice Prompt" that allows you to enable or disable voice prompts for that event.
🐞 Bug Fixes
Here are the bugs we managed to squish in this release!
- Fixed issue with Groups filter on Camera Events page not filtering out events for certain vehicles.
- Fixed issue with event video player appearing below events list when viewing an event video on Flagged Events tab.
- Fixed issue where vehicles could not be selected when using the "Select Individual" option on the Camera Admin page.
- Fixed issue with styling causing the text in the new Geotab side menu to become small and hard to read.
