Speed Limit Violation Alerts
This feature helps promote safe driving habits by alerting drivers and providing clear visibility into speeding violations, differentiated by severity - Low, Moderate, High and Severe.
- Low Speeding: +1 to +5 over the speed limit
- Moderate Speeding: +6 to +10 over the speed limit
- High Speeding: +11 to +15 over the speed limit
- Severe: +16 over the speed limit
In-Cab Audio and Notifications
- After each trip, if speeding was detected, the driver will hear an audio reminder reinforcing safe driving behavior and encouraging them to obey speed limits on future trips. This feature can be enabled from the Fleet Settings as shown below:
- Notifications can be set up for the alerts.
Route History
When viewing a trip, users can hover over any segment with a speeding violation to see a popover containing:
- Posted Speed Limit
- Vehicle’s Average Speed during the violation
- Duration of the speeding event
