RoscoLive v2.45.0 Feature Snapshot

Here's what we have coming in RoscoLive v2.45.0!

✨ New Features

Fleet Idling and Dashboard Notifications

What’s New: A new Fleet Idling dashboard tile displays total idle time, driving time and idle percentage in a donut chart. You can also configure notifications directly from the Events, Fleet Idling and Fleet Data Usage tiles using the bell icon.

Why It Matters: Makes it easier to identify idling trends and potential fuel-saving opportunities at a glance. Dashboard-based notification settings provide quicker access to preferences.

Easier Access to IFTA Reports

What’s New: A new Download Reports button provide access to reports requested within the past two weeks. Clearer status messages and simpler file names improve report identification. Reports covering more than 100 assets and over three months can be downloaded instead of loaded on-screen.

Why It Matters: Simplifies report retrieval, clarifies report status and makes large reports easier to access without relying on on-screen loading.

Improved Trip Tracking

What’s New: Trip start and end detection now uses ignition status and device connectivity. GPS changes and idling no longer end a trip, while trips close when the ignition turns off or the device exceeds the connectivity timeout. If connectivity is restored while the ignition remains on, tracking resumes.

Why It Matters: Improves trip-record accuracy by keeping stops and idling within the same journey when appropriate, reducing incorrect trip segmentation and providing more reliable trip data.

Consistent Event Duration Reporting

What’s New: Event duration values are now rounded consistently and displayed uniformly across RoscoLive and its integrated services.

Why It Matters: Reduces discrepancies in event duration reporting, making it easier to compare information across platforms and interpret event data consistently.

Consistent Time Display

What’s New: Timestamps across RoscoLive now follow the selected time zone, with Device Time Zone as the default. You can select User Local Time Zone in Time Display Settings to view events in your local time. Time zone abbreviations are also displayed alongside timestamps.

Why It Matters: Makes it easier to interpret event timing across RoscoLive pages and reduces confusion when reviewing fleet activity.
